[Preferred Products] Si1133/53 Optical Sensor Multifunction Evaluation Kit

Silicon Labs (also known as Silicon Labs) is a leading global supplier of smart sensor solutions and has launched a variety of optical sensors that are widely used in the industry. We have also created a multi-functional development kit for evaluating Si1133/Si1153 optical sensors: 115xOPT-EXP-EVB . 115xOPT-EXP-EVB can easily evaluate all basic optical sensor types provided by Silicon Labs , including: proximity detection ( Prox ) and ambient light sensing ( ALS ), gesture detection, ultraviolet ( UV ) sensing, long-distance proximity detection and anti-daylight proximity detection.

The 115xOPT-EXP-EVB supports evaluation of the UV/ALS : Si1133; Long-range proximity sensor : Si1153-AB09; Sunlight-resistant proximity module : Si1153-AB9X; Proximity /ALS 2-in-1 sensor: Si1153-AB00 ; Gesture /ALS 2-in-1 sensor: Si1153-AB00 . It is compatible with the Silicon Labs EFMEVB and Optical Sensor Programming Toolkit and is compatible with Simplicity Studio .

UV/ALS 2-in-1 Sensor: Si1133 sensor mounted with a demonstration Teflon light diffuser assembly. The diffuser holder is made of carbon-filled black material with a 1.2 mm diameter opening for light to reach the sensor. The 0.1 mm thin Teflon light diffuser assembly is a 2.3 x 2.3 mm square.

Long Range Proximity Detection Sensor Module: The Si1153-AB092 x 2 mm is a proximity sensing chip with an on-chip 940nm bandpass filter to protect against sunlight. This board evaluates the use of a 5 mm diameter lens and narrow angle LEDs .

Daylight-Proof Proximity Detection Module : Si1153-AB9X, 2.85 x 4.9 mm proximity sensor module with built-in 940nm bandpass filter for daylight-proof proximity detection. And integrated 940nm LED .

Proximity Detection /ALS 2-in-1 Sensor: Si1153-AB00, 2 x 2 mm optical sensor chip with 1 850 nm LED mounted , can be used for ALS , proximity detection.

Gesture Detection /ALS 2-in-1 Sensor: Si1153-AB00, 2 x 2 mm optical sensor chip with 3 850 nm LEDs installed , can be used for ALS , gesture detection.

115xOPT-EXP-EVB integrates a variety of sensor modules, which are configured through an 8 - bit SW1 switch. The first five switches select different sensors, the sixth selects the prototype area, the seventh selects the external expansion connector, and the last one is not used. It is worth noting that each time you switch the sensor, you must reset the board and restart the software.

We also provide a rich PC -side GUI programming development kit for this evaluation board. By connecting to the PC via USB , online measurement programming can be achieved.
