Use equipment such as an impactor to remove larger dust from the air sucked in from the inlet and introduce only particles smaller than 2.5μm into the detector.





Irradiate LD light and detect only the scattered light (diffuse reflected light) of PM2.5 particles





Determine PM2.5 particle quantity based on light sensitivity





When it is determined that the amount of PM2.5 particles is large, the suction of the pump body is increased to promote the removal of PM2.5



Reasons for using LD

● Only want to receive scattered light (direct light can be easily separated)

● Scattering points can be illuminated by high-density light (high S/N)

● The original light intensity is easy to stabilize (can be driven by APC)

● Narrow beam width (stable signal)
