News | Innosilicon Semiconductor and Rohm Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement
- Supporting xEV technology innovation through the development of automotive power modules -
Wuxi XinDong Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "XinDong Semiconductor"), a subsidiary of Great Wall Motors, and ROHM Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "ROHM"), a world-renowned semiconductor manufacturer, signed a strategic partnership agreement on automotive power modules with SiC as the core.
As the new energy vehicle (xEV) market continues to expand, the market demand for longer driving range and faster charging speed is also increasing. SiC is expected to be a key device to solve these problems and is gradually being widely used in the core drive component - traction inverter.
Through this cooperation, Innosilicon will focus on the innovation and performance improvement of automotive power modules equipped with Rohm SiC chips, and Great Wall Motor Group will develop high-efficiency traction inverters to extend the driving range of xEVs. In the future, both parties will further accelerate the development of innovative automotive power solutions with SiC as the core, and contribute to automotive technology innovation.
