Mouser Electronics begins selling Renesas Electronics ’ RA4E2 microcontroller (MCU) today . RA4E2 MCU is equipped with a 100MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core, providing an entry-level solution for low-memory, low-pin-count small package application design. RA4E2 MCU has high-speed performance and is suitable for smart home devices, consumer electronics, medical equipment, and industrial sensor networks.
The Renesas RA4E2 MCU features a robust set of peripherals, including a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter, universal PWM timer, USB FS device, SCI, SPI, I3C, SSI, CANFD and HDMI-CEC. These MCUs are compatible with the open Arm ecosystem, while their easy-to-use, flexible configuration software packages enable easy development and migration of various designs and applications. RA4E2 MCU contains 128 KB code flash memory, 40 KB SRAM and 4 KB data flash memory.
The RA4E2 MCU comes with a matching RA4E2 evaluation kit, allowing users to seamlessly evaluate the functionality of the RA4E2 MCU product group and develop embedded system applications using flexible configuration software packages and the e2 studio integrated development environment (IDE). Rich onboard functionality and a range of popular ecosystem plug-ins serve as an excellent starting point for designers developing custom applications. The RA4E2 evaluation kit supports high-speed performance testing and safety function evaluation.
