MPLAB® Snap In-Circuit Debugger/Programmer – Microchip’s Most Cost-Effective Debugger
MPLAB® Snap In-Circuit Debugger/Programmer
It is Microchip's most cost-effective debugger.
The powerful graphical user interface of the MPLAB X Integrated Development Environment (IDE) version 5.05 or later enables
economical, fast and easy
debugging and programming of PIC®, dsPIC®, AVR® and SAM Flash MCUs. The MPLAB Snap can be connected to a computer using a high-speed USB 2.0 interface or to a target through an 8-pin single in-line (SIL) connector. This connector uses two device I/O pins and the reset line to enable in-circuit debugging and in-circuit serial programming (ICSP™). It has all the speed and features that entry-level users need to quickly debug their prototypes.
With the powerful 32-bit, 300 MHz SAME70 MCU, the MPLAB Snap speeds up debugging iterations for fast programming. In addition to a wide target voltage, the MPLAB Snap supports advanced interfaces such as 4-wire JTAG and Serial Wire Debug with Streaming Data Gateway, while being backward compatible with demo boards, headers and target systems that use 2-wire JTAG and ICSP.
