Lattice Semiconductor Appoints Ford Tamer as New CEO

After careful consideration and evaluation by the Company’s Board of Directors, Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced the appointment of Dr. Ford Tamer as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Company’s Board of Directors, effective immediately.

“On behalf of the Board, I am pleased to welcome Ford to Lattice,” said Jeff Richardson, Chairman of the Lattice Board. “Ford is a dynamic and transformative CEO with a proven track record of leading companies to success. I am confident that our team, under Ford’s leadership, will continue to drive Lattice to achieve outstanding performance and deliver industry-leading products.”

Mr. Tamer will succeed Esam Elashmawi as permanent CEO, who has served as interim CEO since June 2024. Mr. Elashmawi will then continue to serve as the company's Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, a position he has held since September 2018 and will continue to hold during his term as interim CEO.

Mr. Tamer has extensive industry experience and leadership in semiconductors, networking, and enterprise software. Prior to joining Lattice, Mr. Tamer served as President and CEO of Inphi for nine years, leading the company to become a market leader in electro-optical solutions for cloud computing and telecom operators. Prior to joining Inphi, he served as CEO of Telegent Systems, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Broadcom's Infrastructure Networking Division, and Co-founder and CEO of Agere Inc. Most recently, he served as Senior Operating Partner of Francisco Partners. Mr. Tamer holds a Master's and Ph.D. in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He currently serves on the board of directors of Teradyne Inc. and Groq, Inc., and most recently served on the board of directors of Marvell Technologies, Inc.

In conjunction with the announcement, the company also reiterated its business outlook released on July 29, 2024.
