[RoCE network testing] Keysight Technologies and China Mobile collaborate to develop RoCE testing solutions

Beijing, January 7, 2021 - Keysight Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) , a leading global technology company that helps enterprises, service providers and governments accelerate innovation to connect and secure the world, announced today that it has collaborated with China Mobile, the world's largest mobile operator, to advance Ethernet lossless network testing solutions.

China Mobile uses Keysight's test solutions on wired and wireless network platforms to accelerate network service deployment, including Keysight's 5G test solutions for validating and optimizing 5G NR devices, base stations, and radio access network (RAN), core network and data center infrastructure.

"We are pleased to collaborate with Keysight to support the development of Ethernet, " said Yang Haijun, director of the test center at China Mobile Research Institute . "RoCE technology is an ideal transport technology for data centers, converged storage area networks (SANs) and cloud computing. Keysight's high-performance RoCE test solution enables us to accelerate innovation in the global digital economy."

Keysight Technologies and China Mobile Research Institute (CMRI) jointly released the "Unified Ethernet Lossless Network Test Technology White Paper" and "Ethernet Lossless Network Test Methodology" at the 2020 China Mobile Global Partner Conference held in Guangzhou on November 21, 2020. The white paper details how the new RoCE test solution is based on Keysight IxLoad software and DCS hardware to improve statistical indicators and test stability. Keysight's RoCE test solution has partially replaced existing server test solutions.
