Recently, we found that a certain online media published misleading news without verification that "while all the giants are still making great efforts to develop 10nm and 7nm technologies, China Microelectronics officially announced that it has mastered 5nm technology." After being reprinted by many media, the false information spread. China Microelectronics has never released the above information, nor has it authorized any media organization or individual to publish or reprint this report. The report misinterpreted the content of China Microelectronics' interview on CCTV-2's "China Financial Report" program on March 11. The program mentioned that a machine of China Microelectronics was testing the 5nm process. In the interview report, Dr. Yin Zhiyao, Chairman and CEO of China Microelectronics, said: "The most advanced chip production companies in the world, such as Intel, TSMC, and Samsung, have matured their 14nm production, and 10nm and 7nm will soon enter production, so we must be ahead of the times. 5nm will basically be finalized by the end of this year. Now the progress is very fast, almost one generation every one or two years, so we are very tight." In fact, it is China Microelectronics' customers, the world's first-class integrated circuit manufacturers, who have promoted the progress of chip technology and production generation after generation. As an equipment company, AMEC provides them with equipment that can process advanced devices and assists them in developing and producing new generation devices. AMEC cannot independently master 5nm technology without their 5nm technology development.

AMEC is engaged in the development, sales and after-sales service of high-end semiconductor equipment, which is a market-oriented business behavior.
