Ivy 8909B is the industry's first integrated NB-IoT+GSM dual-mode IoT single-chip solution. It supports NB-IoT R14 and GSM/GPRS, and integrates RF transceiver, power manager, modem, analog baseband, Flash memory, PSRAM memory, etc. It also has a version with built-in ESIM, which greatly reduces the difficulty and cost of terminal integration for customers. It can be widely used in various large-scale IoT applications such as wearable devices, smart homes, smart cities, smart industry and agriculture.
In terms of communication capabilities, the Ivy 8909B supports the 3GPP-R14 standard. When moving at ultra-high speed, the laboratory simulation measurement reaches 300 kilometers per hour, which fundamentally solves the lack of mobility of NB-IoT chips. At the same time, the excellent demodulation performance of the Ivy 8909B makes it have lower service latency and faster service response speed in static state, stronger service stability in low-speed mobile state, and higher service success rate in high-speed mobile state. It is significantly higher than similar products in all indicators.
In terms of module power consumption, Ivy 8909B has ultra-low power consumption, PSM power consumption is about 3uA, and multi-mode standby power consumption is much less than 1mA.
In March 2019, the Ivy 8909B multi-mode IoT chip successfully passed GTI's rigorous testing and examination in terms of power consumption performance, RF measurement accuracy, network compatibility, protocol consistency, etc., and obtained the GTI official certification certificate.
At present, the Ivy 8909B solution has been put into practice in multiple industry applications. Through solutions in the fields of smart meters, it has improved data collection efficiency in many cities across the country including Shanghai, Tianjin, Wuhan, Xinjiang, etc., and assisted in smart energy management.
In 2019, in the IoT meter transformation project carried out by Tianjin, Chunteng 8909B successfully solved problems such as weak coverage, no coverage, invisible faults, parameter problems, and co-frequency interference. The project's water meter online rate increased to 98%, and the gas meter online rate remained stable at above 99%.

After learning about the heterogeneous dual-core architecture of Tiger T710, AI Benchmark wrote this innovative platform design into the paper "All About Deep Learning on Smartphones in 2019" and published it on the scientific literature website arxiv.org, which once again triggered reposts and reports from AI industry media.
