I have some doubts after the job interview. Please give your opinions!
I just finished an interview with a company today. The company mainly makes communication equipment, and the related technology should be considered advanced in China. The interviewer was not an HR or a technical staff, but a leader like the boss. Since they were all locals, the whole interview process felt like a chat. No professional questions or questions about my abilities were asked. At the beginning, they talked about career planning, and finally asked me to master ARM, DSP, and FPGA related technologies. I first got familiar with the equipment and instruments in the workshop every day, and used the evening time to read books and study.
My doubts: In my opinion, communication technology is quite high-end, and generally has high requirements for job seekers. As a fresh graduate of automation, I have almost no foundation in DSP, FPGA, and communication technology. What kind of job does this company want me to do? I applied for a software engineer on the city's talent website, and the requirements were also microcontrollers. In fact, the interviewer also said at the beginning that people like me are generally not accepted, mainly because I am a local, young and have potential.
I feel that if I can really have such a learning opportunity, it would be great, although the pressure would be a bit greater. I saw that the company is still recruiting general workers, assemblers, and fitters. I am afraid that I will have to do this kind of work in the workshop after I enter. Well, I'd better wait for the notification. I feel that this interview is a bit too easy. I didn't say a few words during the whole interview process.
The following are the replies from netizens:

Some companies say everything is fine during the interview, but when you get there, they give all kinds of excuses, saying the job content doesn't match what they said, and the salary and benefits don't match what they said. The smaller the company, the more serious this situation is. You must pay close attention and inquire carefully.

When the chairman interviews you, if the senior person mentions a bunch of ARM, DSP, and FPGA to you, it is just to scare you. Besides, some of his words are probably heard from others (I am just saying that this is the case in my case). I have encountered such a situation. Basically, he just scares you at the beginning and then recruits you as a soldier (I won’t expose him...). . . . There is not even HR. Such a company... Be careful... . . . . .
User 3:
The boss is just trying to scare you by talking about this technology. Many technical people are very modest when talking about their own technology during interviews.
User 4:
At most, I can be asked to do sales...
User 5:
Not talking about salary is just being a hooligan
User 6:
Go to the online Industrial and Commercial Bureau to check the company's corporate information, registration time, registered capital, actual investment, shareholder structure, business scope, etc. Through this information, you can sometimes get a good idea of a company.
User 7:
At most, you can do testing work
User 8:
The most troublesome thing is that the position is uncertain. If I can't determine the position during the interview, I won't go.
User 9:
This is true. Most engineers are more modest about their company's products and technologies.
