In July, Malaysia, a major global semiconductor packaging and testing hub, was severely affected by the epidemic. In addition to the shutdown of many major semiconductor factories, most manufacturers were operating at reduced capacity, with only 60% of their staff being able to maintain production at most. With limited packaging and testing capacity, the production capacity of products such as diodes and MOSFETs was reduced, and the market set off another round of price increases.
