Software News
Bluetooth security vulnerabilities
Following the discovery of security vulnerabilities (bug 10734) regarding Secure Simple Pairing and Secure Connections for Low Energy, the Bluetooth SIG announced a specification update on July 23, 2018. We have updated our Dialog Software Development Kit (SDK) to support these specification updates. Two days after the specification update was announced, we quickly deployed the updates in two new SDKs and published them on the support website. These updates only cover the specification updates mentioned in bug 10734, so no complex software migration is required. The following table summarizes our Bluetooth ICs and related SDKs.
