Recently, Lingsheng Technology announced the launch of the JR510, a new generation of 4G smartphone chip platform for mobile communications. Based on the Arm® Cortex®-A55 octa-core architecture, the JR510 has balanced performance and power consumption, and has powerful imaging and AI processing capabilities, which can meet the needs of multiple applications in the mobile era. Currently, the JR510 has entered the mass production stage and is the first to be installed on Xiaomi's new phone POCO C40, bringing super value AI capabilities and imaging experience to the POCO C40.
The 4G smartphone SoC JR510 launched by Lingsheng Technology this time uses an octa-core Cortex-A55 CPU and an Arm Mali®-G52 GPU. The CPU and GPU have achieved an excellent balance in terms of main frequency, energy efficiency and performance, allowing smartphones to be at ease in daily use while also having longer battery life. JR510 has excellent multimedia performance, integrates artificial intelligence technology based on Cortex-A55 and self-developed algorithms, and innovatively introduces an independent hardware AI acceleration (NPU) engine in entry-level and mid-to-low-end smartphone chips, giving JR510 excellent AI engine performance and image algorithm processing capabilities. It can not only detect and identify AI intelligent scene detection in real time, realize AI high dynamic range (AI HDR) in shooting, but also realize rich functions such as face recognition, intelligent beauty, and image noise reduction in shooting. In addition, JR510 supports VP9/H.265/H.264 decoding and H.265/H.264 encoding with a resolution of 1080P, fully meeting the needs of mobile terminals for video and mainstream mobile Internet applications.
