The annual Xilinx Developer Conference will kick off at the Beijing National Convention Center from December 3rd to 4th, 2019!

Xilinx Developer Conference is an unprecedented platform for developers to closely engage with experts’ thoughts and opinions, creativity and solutions; 75 technical forums on industry perspectives, cutting-edge technologies and cutting-edge applications; more than 20 hours of hands-on developer labs for two days; hundreds of global opinion leaders and technical experts gathered together.

As the diamond sponsor of this conference and Xilinx's largest global partner, Avnet will exhibit the following solutions at booth P-02 on the 4th floor of the venue to share with you the extended products and services of Avnet's new ecosystem.


  • RFSoC Development Kit Solution : Based on the Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+™ RFSoC device family, it also uses the LTE Toolbox tool from MathWorks and industry-leading RF components from Qorvo to demonstrate a complete RFSoC-based design tool chain for engineers.

  • Ultra96-based dual-camera demonstration solution : Based on ON Semiconductor AR0144 video sensor, AP1302 ISP chip and Avnet Ultra96 development board, engineers can perform seamless video acquisition and display processing based on Linux platform, which is widely used in portable video processing and artificial intelligence analysis.


  • Ultra96 expansion board Click Board demo : With MikroElektronika Click Boards, the peripheral functions of the Ultra96 development board can be greatly expanded. More than 700 different Click Boards can provide sensor, display, storage, timing, mixed signal and audio expansion functions. This demonstration shows that a 6-DOF sensor can communicate with Ultra96 based on the Linux environment.

  • UltraZed-EV VCU H.264 encoding and network streaming demonstration : Avnet has ported the Xilinx ZCU106 VCU TRD reference design, allowing engineers to port and add individual functional blocks. We provide instructive blog posts, demonstration videos, and some auxiliary videos so that engineers can build their own or use the provided design files.

  • Ultra96-based robot platform : TurtleBot3 Burger is a popular robot operating system platform (ROS), which is modified with Ultra96-V2 board and upgraded with the original Raspberry Pi board. It uses Xilinx SDSoC and Vivado HLS tools to accelerate the computationally intensive part of SLAM function in the logic part (PL) of Xilinx chip and access the hardware accelerator through ROS-style abstraction layer.

  • Avnet ADAS Development Platform : UltraZ-AD is a development platform for automotive driving assistance launched by Avnet. The platform uses two high-performance Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC devices and a rich set of peripheral interfaces, which can be widely used in many ADAS application fields, including object detection, space recognition, path planning, etc. This demonstration uses 4 camera inputs and realizes the image detection function of different applications through different neural networks based on Xilinx's DPU AI solution.


  • AI reasoning demonstration of Xilinx Alveo accelerator card : Mipsology's artificial intelligence solution Zebra is a high-performance AI reasoning solution based on Xilinx accelerator card. This solution can seamlessly replace or supplement traditional AI solutions based on CPU/GPU platforms and achieve excellent performance with faster speed and lower power consumption.



  • Avnet Server Display : Avnet Integrated also launched its 2U2S server product at this event, which is mainly aimed at applications such as image 3D rendering and high-performance computing. We also worked with Xilinx and artificial intelligence solution provider Mipsology to showcase a high-performance solution for AI reasoning based on the Alveo accelerator card.


  • e-Network Supply Chain Solution : e-Network, a subsidiary of Avnet, also participated in the event and demonstrated Avnet's FPGA development board, engineer community and complete component procurement supply chain solution, providing companies with a fast and convenient component purchase and technology exchange platform, helping small and medium-sized enterprises grow rapidly.
