Ultra96-based robot platform : TurtleBot3 Burger is a popular robot operating system platform (ROS), which is modified with Ultra96-V2 board and upgraded with the original Raspberry Pi board. It uses Xilinx SDSoC and Vivado HLS tools to accelerate the computationally intensive part of SLAM function in the logic part (PL) of Xilinx chip and access the hardware accelerator through ROS-style abstraction layer.

The platform uses two high-performance Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC devices and a rich set of peripheral interfaces, which can be widely used in many ADAS application fields, including object detection, space recognition, path planning, etc. This demonstration uses 4 camera inputs and realizes the image detection function of different applications through different neural networks based on Xilinx's DPU AI solution.
