This article uses ATMEL89C51 as the data processing and main control chip to develop the EBoat 100B digital camera. This article introduces the software and hardware development process and image processing algorithm of the EBoat 100B digital camera. The research and development content involves the basic flash program of the digital camera, USB communication and RCB data transmission between the digital camera and the PC, and the image processing algorithm and implementation based on computer resources. As a new type of image input device, digital cameras have attracted the attention of many companies. In more than 10 years, a lot of funds and technical forces have entered this field. In the field of consumer electronics product development in my country, there is a rich foundation for single-chip microcomputer product development and personnel reserves, but the development of digital imaging products with digital image processing technology as the core is a new topic. EBoat 100 in the EBoat series is a low-pixel digital camera that uses ATMEL89C51 as the data processing and main control chip. The technology involves many key technologies in digital camera system design (such as RCB sequence data conversion and automatic white balance algorithm). It has important reference value for researchers and developers with a background in microcontroller development, who can use it to appreciate the digital camera system development process and image processing algorithms.
