Traditional image quality evaluation methods are difficult to evaluate mosaicking effects well. This paper aims to solve the problem of obtaining a better mosaicking effect by evaluating the smoothness of the seams in the mosaicking effect only through spatial frequency activity (SFA). Based on the contrast sensitivity of visual perception characteristics, this paper proposes to use the structural contrast (SCD) perception factor to evaluate the grayscale harmony of the mosaicking effect. A comprehensive evaluation model for mosaicking images is constructed by combining the SFA and SCD perception factors, which can evaluate the mosaicking image effect more in line with the subjective visual perception characteristics.
