This paper designs a high-performance industrial sewing machine system solution based on a new SVPWM algorithm (space vector pulse width modulation algorithm). First, by analyzing the new SVPWM algorithm in the control system, the system was fully simulated and analyzed using MATLAB/Simulink software. The simulation results obtained are consistent with the theoretical analysis results, which verifies the feasibility of the design scheme. Then, for the industrial sewing machine, an actual system based on DSP TMS320F2812 is designed. The system adopts a certain control strategy to achieve functions such as speed regulation and accurate positioning. Experiments show that the system has small torque pulsation, low mechanical noise, and good dynamic response, which meets the performance requirements of the sewing machine.
