The poloidal field power control system of the nuclear fusion device EAST consists of three layers of network: WINDOWS monitoring layer, QNX real-time control layer, and fieldbus execution layer. The fieldbus layer is responsible for collecting the status of a large number of field devices and passing them to the real-time control layer and monitoring layer. This paper describes a cross-platform network communication between the Ethernet fieldbus controller and different operating systems, QNX and WINDOWS. Practice shows that it is completely feasible and efficient to use the socket established by the Socket API based on the MODBUS TCP/IP protocol to enable the fieldbus to communicate with two operating systems at the same time.
