Based on the two-factor authentication of the computing USB-Key, a dynamic multi-factor authentication scheme is designed, which has higher security than the traditional two-factor authentication, and the authentication system is implemented on a VxWorks-based embedded platform according to the scheme. Keywords: dynamic multi-factor, VxWorks image, authentication scheme, authentication system Identity authentication is extremely important in the information security system and is also the most basic security service; authentication technology determines the security strength of the system to a certain extent, and strengthening the research on identity authentication theory and its application has become a very important topic in the field of information security. Authentication methods can be roughly divided into four categories, namely, using agreed passwords, physical devices, hardware information and biometrics to complete authentication. Among them, password technology is the most commonly used, which can be divided into static passwords and dynamic passwords; authentication using physical devices such as smart cards or USB-Key is also increasingly widely used. Combined with the authentication needs of an embedded platform, this paper designs and develops a multi-factor comprehensive authentication scheme using hardware device information, dynamic passwords, and static passwords, and develops an authentication system on an embedded platform based on VxWorks.
