The characteristics and model structure of the analog hardware description language Verilog-A were analyzed. Based on the trade-off between simulation speed and simulation accuracy, the Verilog-A behavioral models of analog switches, bandgap reference voltage sources, and operational amplifiers were designed and implemented. According to the characteristics of the digital-to-analog converter (DAC), a DAC parameter test model was designed based on Verilog-A, and a behavioral model of an 8-bit DAC was also established. All behavioral models were simulated and verified in the Cadence Spectre simulator.
