Sequential logic design and implementation based on PLD chip: Schematic input design is intuitive, convenient and flexible; 1-1. Introduction to schematic design method QuartusII already contains the basic logic component library of digital circuits (various logic gates and triggers), macro function component library (almost all 74 series devices); QuartusII provides the function of schematic input multi-level design, making the design of larger-scale circuit systems easier. In fact, except for the initial input method, the rest of the schematic input process is exactly the same as the VHDL text input method. 1-2. Create a schematic design file. Click File/New, select the Device Design Files tab in the pop-up menu, then select the Block Diagram/Schematic File option, and click OK to open the schematic editing window; save the schematic design file with the suffix *.bdf; in the schematic editing window, you can double-click or right-click the mouse and select /Insert_Symbol to call out the dialog box for adding symbol components; in the dialog box, select the required components and place them on the drawing and then connect them. 1-3. Calling of commonly used basic components in schematic design The power supply (Vcc) and ground (Gnd) required for drawing schematics are placed in: c:/altera/quartus60/library/primitives/other (C:/ is the software installation directory) Commonly used basic logic gates are placed in: c:/altera/quartus60/library/primitives/logic The 74 series macro modules are placed in: c:/altera/quartus60/library/others/maxplus2 The input (input) and output (output) ports are placed in: In c:/altera/quartus60/library/primitives/pin, click the \'+\' on the left side of the library where the required component is located to expand it, then select the component inside and place it on the drawing; if you know the basic component name, you can directly enter the component name in the \"name\" window to quickly select and place the component.
