The characteristics of the embedded machine vision system based on ARM+DSP architecture are introduced, and the factors that restrict the performance of the embedded machine vision system are analyzed. From the perspective of operating system and application, the optimization scheme of the embedded machine vision system is discussed. By tailoring the embedded Linux kernel and file system, optimizing the application code, and making full use of the unique NEON acceleration technology of the Cotex-A processor, the system startup time is shortened by 25 s and the application running speed is increased by 2.5 times.
