What is the reason why IIC fails when the MSP430FR2311 power supply voltage rises to 3.5V? How to solve it? [Copy link]

Recently, I tested MSP430FR3211 and found that the MCU system runs normally when powered by a power supply below 3.3V. When the voltage rises to 3.5V, the MCU is running, but the outputs of both IIC lines are low. We checked the hardware and program and found no abnormalities. Please ask the experts in TI technical forum to analyze it. Thank you!

The voltage recommended in the data sheet is 1.8-3.6V, but for different modules, we also provide corresponding ranges, as shown in Table 5-19. eUSCI (I2C Mode) Switching Characteristics

VCC is recommended to be between
2-3V

How did you increase the voltage? Did you increase it during the program running? Why do you need to increase the voltage?   Details Published on 2021-3-30 12:46
