Able to operate in harsh environments, these devices are suitable for appliance and automotive applications. Rich peripheral integration, including SENT (Single Sided Nibble Transmit-Transmit/Receive), high-speed PWM, operational amplifiers and error-correcting code flash memory for added reliability and security. The performance of the dsPIC33EV family of MCUs enables integration into more energy-efficient, high-performance, precision motor control system designs. They can be used to control BLDC, permanent magnet synchronization, AC induction and stepper motors.
