Shown is the infrared remote control receiving circuit of Panasonic TC-29P20QG TV . As can be seen from the figure, the infrared photodiode receives the infrared light signal from the remote control transmitter and converts the light signal into a current signal. After passing the current, the voltage conversion circuit turns it into a voltage signal. Then through amplification, band-pass filtering (selected), detector, comparator, and finally output remote control pulse.
