A diode rectifier energy consumption braking circuit
Source: InternetPublisher:酷到被通缉 Updated: 2010/11/29
In the circuit shown in the figure, when STP is pressed, the coils KM and KT are de-energized and released. The delayed disconnection contact of KT is still closed, causing the braking contactor KMB to be energized and closed. The AC power supply is connected to M through the KMB contact. The two-phase winding, after flowing through the third-phase winding, is rectified by VD and returns to the center line N. After the set time is reached, KMB is released after power loss, and the braking process ends. This braking circuit is mostly used for small motors below 10kW.
