Shown here are several possible interface circuits that can be used with remote control transmitters. A typical FM stereo multiplexer is illustrated in A, which is used with a load connected directly to the open output of a TA7343 PLL. The circuit in B illustrates an optically isolated output. This opto-isolated output drives a 12V relay coil through a general purpose transistor.
