Problems encountered by novices when trying to make PCBs [Copy link]

I just learned AD10 a few days ago, and my friend sent me a schematic diagram and PCB diagram for me to practice. I encountered many problems: 1. I have already made the schematic library, but when making the PCB package library, I don’t know how to make the package of each device. Does each package need to be drawn according to the size of the given PCB drawing? Some textbooks I found have marked the size of the chip, or directly found the package library to copy and paste. The packages I made were directly copied from the library. Is this okay? 2. There are two pin headers in the schematic diagram, and the direction and order of the pins are different. Do I have to draw two? Otherwise, what should I do if I only have one drawing? Then I found the PCB package of the pin header and associated them. When I looked at it, it was still there, but when I created the PCB project and drew the diagram, I found that they were not associated again. Several other components are associated.

The PCB name of the device in the schematic diagram must be the same as the PCB name of your own design, otherwise it cannot be associated. This is the problem I encountered when I used Cadence to draw PCBs. It is for reference only  Details Published on 2018-9-14 16:46

1) Pin headers are not directional, but terminals are directional. 2) Draw the package from the specification. If you don't know how to draw the package, look for a tutorial online. It's not too difficult.

Oh. Can you draw it if there are only a few schematics and PCB diagrams like this?

Go online to find the specification sheets of the relevant components

In fact, drawing a PCB is very similar to painting. The purpose of drawing your schematic diagram is to tell everyone how the pins of your various electronic devices are connected. And your PCB actually takes your schematic diagram a step further. You can understand it simply like this: PCB is to draw a two-dimensional picture of your physical electronic components, and then you line up on your PCB drawing to make the pins of these electronic components need to be connected (just like you want to tie them up with a rope) without obstacles. Don't wrap the wires together, and each one goes its own way. The relationship from the schematic diagram to the PCB to the physical object is equivalent to: you want to make a group pose, and this pose requires a and b's left hands to be tied together, a and c's right hands to be tied together, and b and c's feet to be tied together. (This is the idea, this idea is to draw your idea, without considering the height, weight, and thinness of abc, only considering the logic, this is the schematic diagram), and the PCB must consider the height, weight, and thinness of a, b, and the distance between them, so that their hands and feet can be better tied together and it will not be said that the line that ties ac together will pass through the left hands of ab while a and b's left hands are tied together.

The example is a bit awkward ̄□ ̄||, if you understand the meaning roughly, you should be able to understand it.  Details Published on 2018-9-14 16:31
