Recently, Cypress Semiconductor announced the launch of a clock chip and self-programming kit that can easily realize common frequency programming. Designers can use the new InstaClock? Programmable clock generator kit to program InstaClock samples and select the appropriate configuration from a set of predetermined frequencies in less than a minute, without waiting for custom programming parts or changing masks. Another advantage of this kit for customers is that it can provide a unified package for various configurations and applications, thereby greatly reducing the number of components required for multiple frequencies. The reprogrammable InstaClock chip not only has the function of reducing EMI and VCXO, but also supports various frequencies in Ethernet, PCI, USB, HDTV and audio systems.

　　The CY36800 programming kit can provide most common clock frequencies through simple software selection. The kit uses standard part numbers and can be ordered from authorized distributors. In addition, we also provide more configurations and frequencies through online downloads. The kit can quickly program CY22800 InstaClock samples, which means that the same device can be used to handle a variety of common applications to achieve programmable clock frequencies in end-user systems and frequencies generated by multiple crystals or oscillators in the system.
