 The switch of the electric kettle at home is broken, so we disassembled it to check. 1. Open the arc handle, and the problem comes out: the screws are rusted, so we remove them forcibly. 2. Disassemble the temperature control switch, press the metal spring wire of the blue arrow on the right to the left until it is unhooked, and then push the upper cover to the left, and you can disengage the bayonet of the green arrow on the left. The problem arises: the place where the green arrow locks is when the temperature reaches about 100, the bimetallic strip moves, allowing the upper cover to press the movable metal contact to separate it, and there is melted plastic here (green arrow). Because it has melted, the bimetallic strip drives the plastic cover to jump up, and the travel is insufficient, which drives the metal contact to jump open and cut off the power.

It was dismantled and rusted. The metal sheet receives high-temperature water vapor. When replacing the temperature control switch, the two wires of the switch must be firmly fixed and ensure good contact, that is, the clamping mouth must be tight.
