Although I was selected in the second batch, I received the LicheePi 4A development board very late. Fortunately, I was able to receive it in the end, and I am very happy. Below I will share the unboxing report with you.
1. Packaging Box
SIPEED's packaging has always been very simple, and this time is no exception.
The outermost shell of the box, the front is as follows:
The bottom of the box is a typical international style:
After opening the outer shell, the development board box is inside. The front is as follows:
The box's four sides are fully utilized:

2. Development Board
Open the box above to reveal the true appearance of the board (the fan has been installed):
The entire set also provides a Type-C data cable and a QR code card. You can scan the code to see the official instructions so that you can download the latest image for burning.
Take out the board and separate it:
As Silicon Speed always does, it is divided into core board and expansion board.
The expansion boards are as follows:
The core board is as follows:
3. Power on
Before receiving the development board, we were repeatedly reminded from various channels, including the person in charge of this event from EE, that we were using the test version this time:
1. Be sure to pay attention to the power supply. Do not use a charger with a fast charging function, otherwise it may burn out.
2. Be careful when connecting HDMI. If the HDMI power supply is not done well, it may burn out directly.
3. ...
The feeling is that if you are not careful, the board will be destroyed.
After taking out the board, I burned the Debian image first according to the official instructions.
Then, I connected it to my home TV directly with an HDMI cable. I had the confidence to do this, as this TV had connected dozens of Linux development boards without any problems.
Then use the DC interface to connect a 12V power supply.
Finally, I connected the mouse (wireless) and keyboard (wired).
After connecting, it is as follows:
Turn on the power, no smoke, everything is normal, the red and professional SIPEED LOGO is displayed, and enter the Debian system:
Okay, that’s it for the unboxing. You can start playing it properly and I will continue to share with you.
