# 2. Summary of each task## 1. Control the screen to display Chinese With the help of the first phase of OLED display, use the 0.96-inch screen to display Chinese. The process is divided into two parts: - First find the Chinese font file ttf, use the otf2bdf command (linux) to convert the file format, and then use the adafruit_bitmap_font module to import the BDF font - Improve the template of the sample file ssd1306, mainly replace the font, modify the displayed characters, and change the characters to Chinese 1. Font import Use the adafruit_bitmap_font module to import the font and update the bitmap.  ## 2. Network function test esp32-s3 comes with wifi, and network control can be performed through wifi programming. It is mainly divided into ap and station, that is, it is a hotspot itself and can connect to other devices as a hotspot. The wifi module is directly imported, and then refer to its official website document, which can be directly programmed, which is very convenient. According to the function, we need to use the board as ap and station respectively. For ap, use the start_ap function to realize its function, mainly passing in ssid and password. For station, also pass in ssid and password. Other attributes can also be used, such as DNS, IP address, etc. The code is divided into two functions through an input selection. Different functions are switched by entering the number 1 or 2. The number 1 is the AP function and the number 2 is the station function. Control WS2812B changes WS2812B is an RGB LED lamp of the WS2812x family. It happens that the ESP32-S3 TFT board also has an RGB lamp, which is also called NeoPixel RGB. The NeoPixel library can be used to control the RGB change state of the lamp. The RGB value is represented by three groups of 0 to 255 values, and the color is changed by controlling different values. NeoPixel is an onboard LED, through NeoPixel. NeoPixel() creates an RGB lamp object, specifies the pin, and creates a lamp object with the pin number. It has a brightness function and a fill function. The former adjusts the brightness of the lamp, and the latter fills the RGB value to control the color of the lamp. The colorwheel can adjust the speed by changing the color, and changes the RGB value of the lamp each time. 1. ## 4. Calendar & Clock The last task of this time is the calendar and clock. The calendar and clock use the API interface to obtain data through the network. This time, weather data is obtained through Amap, and time is obtained through the local library. The following is an explanation. The clock and weather are explained separately this time. The time is updated by connecting to the server through the ntp library. The weather uses the Amap API interface to convert the IP lookup to the network address, then obtain the city through the network address, and finally obtain the local weather, such as temperature, humidity, etc. through the city. To display this, you need to use the Chinese library. With the help of the first issue, you need to use Chinese font conversion. That is, convert the ttf font library to bdf and ocf files.
