The HC32F4A0 series is a high-performance MCU based on the ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit RISC CPU with a maximum operating frequency of 240MHz. The Cortex-M4 core integrates a floating-point unit (FPU) and a DSP to implement single-precision floating-point arithmetic operations, supports all ARM single-precision data processing instructions and data types, and supports a complete DSP instruction set. The core integrates an MPU unit , and at the same time superimposes a DMAC dedicated MPU unit to ensure the security of system operation.

The HC32F4A0 series integrates high-speed on-chip memory, including a maximum of 2MB Flash and a maximum of 512KB SRAM. The Flash access acceleration unit is integrated to implement single-cycle program execution of the CPU on the Flash. The polling bus matrix supports multiple bus hosts to access memory and peripherals at the same time, improving the operating performance. The bus hosts include CPU, DMA, USB dedicated DMA, and ETHMAC dedicated DMA. In addition to the bus matrix, it supports data transfer between peripherals, basic arithmetic operations and event triggering, which can significantly reduce the transaction processing load of the CPU.

The HC32F4A0 series integrates a rich set of peripheral functions, supports a wide voltage range (1.8-3.6V), a wide temperature range (-40-105°C) and various low-power modes. It supports fast wake-up from low-power modes, with wake-up from STOP mode as fast as 2us and wake-up from Power Down mode as fast as 25us. It can be applied to high-performance frequency conversion control, digital power supply, smart hardware, IoT connection modules and other fields.
