RISC-V IDE MRS Usage Notes (VI): Use custom file headers when creating new files

When creating a new file in MRS, users can choose to create a blank file or use a preset custom file template to create a file of the corresponding format. At the same time, users can also freely configure the details of different file templates, and support importing and exporting configuration files containing template details.

[Create a new file from a template]

Select the target project and right-click the menu New->File from Template:

In the dialog box that pops up, you can specify the location and file name of the new file, as well as the file template to be used:

Click the Finish button to create a new file from the template. MRS will automatically open the newly created file, which will contain the selected template format content:

【File template configuration】

Click the global configuration button on the toolbar, search for "template" in the property page that opens, and click Code Templates in the displayed left node:

At this time, the right window of the dialog box will display the template content that supports configuration, mainly including: comments, code, and files. On the right side of the page are buttons for creating, compiling, importing, and exporting configuration items. The lower side of the page is the template regular preview content:

Users can freely export the currently edited file template content as a configuration file for use by other MRS users. You can also specify a file template configuration file to quickly overwrite the newly created file template or existing template content:
