Use Velcro to store multimeter pens [Copy link]

This post was last edited by dcexpert on 2022-11-6 12:48

It has always been a small problem to store the multimeter pen. When in use, the wire is expected to be longer for convenience. When not in use, the pen is easy to get tangled or entangled with other things. Velcro can solve this problem better. The ultra-thin Velcro with hook and loop can be cut to any length, and there are many colors to choose from. The cost is only a few yuan.

Cut the Velcro to the appropriate length, and then use welding glue to stick a snap ( be careful not to stick it to the test leads or your hand ). It can be done in one minute.

I always tie the multimeter with the multimeter pen directly. Wrap it a few more times and it won't fall apart.

I used it this way before, but it gets tangled easily, and I have to wrap it around several times to untie it every time I use it, which is still very troublesome.  Details Published on 2022-11-6 19:29

This also needs to be bundled. In fact, if there is a tool bag, it would be more comfortable to put the test leads separately and plug them in when using them.  Details Published on 2022-11-7 12:00

I bought this 3-meter thing when I was organizing my desktop computer some time ago. I can only say it is okay.

This is a great idea. I've seen it on laptop power cords before. I'll buy some to try, but the cords are too messy.

I forgot what I bought before, but the seller gave me a few of these things as gifts. I didn't know what they were used for at the time, but later I used them to store computer power cords.
