2. Overview

The Lontium LT8911EX LVDS to eDP converter features a single-port or dual-port configurable LVDS receiver with 1 clock channel and up to 8 data channels, each operating at a maximum speed of 1.2Gbps; the maximum input bandwidth is 9.6Gbps. The converter deserializes the incoming LVDS data, decodes the packets and converts the formatted video data stream into a single-link output compliant with VESA eDP1.4, with 1/2/4 configurable data channels, supporting link speeds of RBR (1.62Gbps) and HBR (2.7Gbps). Built-in optional SSC function reduces the impact of EMI on EMI-related system applications.

The LT8911EX is fabricated using an advanced CMOS process and is implemented in a 9mmx9mmQFN64 with a 0.5mm pitch package. The package is RoHS compliant and specified to operate over the 40°C to +85°C temperature range.
