An inverting amplifier powered by a single power supply cannot output a negative voltage, and a bias voltage needs to be added to the non-inverting end. The bias voltage should be calculated based on the input signal amplitude, the inverting amplifier gain, and the power supply voltage. The op amp should generally be a rail-to-rail output op amp.

You can use a single power supply. Your circuit only shows the basic working principle of the op amp. In actual use, if a single power supply is used, the + end of the op amp should be added with a 1/2VDD bias voltage.
