Relationship between transformer and inductor (I) [Copy link]

What is the relationship between transformers and inductors? Let me first state the conclusion: transformers and inductors are both related and unrelated, just like the internal resistance of a power supply and a power supply. Transformers work by relying on the phenomenon that a changing magnetic field can generate an electric field. In order to generate an electromagnetic field, it is necessary to be able to generate a sufficiently strong magnetic field. In order to generate a strong magnetic field, a good way is to use an inductor coil. The inductor coil will have a "parasitic inductance", and this parasitic inductance will affect the transformer. This is the relationship between the coil inductance and the transformer.
This conclusion is inferred by me based on some design methods and some phenomena of transformers. 1. Taking the industrial frequency transformer as an example, the transformer volume is large and small, and the inductance of different transformers is different, but the important thing is that there seems to be no functional relationship between this inductance and the capacity of the transformer. There is no functional formula for the size and capacity of the inductance in the design parameters.
2. In practice, no connection is found between inductance and transformers. The inductance of large oil-immersed transformers and transformers in electricity meters is not very different, but the capacity difference is huge. 3. When the frequency of the industrial frequency transformer does not match the designed operating frequency, the efficiency of the transformer will change, or even "fail", but the coil inductance is the inherent property of the coil and has nothing to do with the frequency, so it is impossible to make the transformer fail.
So I infer that there is no relationship between the transformer and the coil inductance. If the conclusion is correct, then we can consider the design process and coil inductance in stages when designing the transformer. First consider the change in the magnetic field of the coil, then consider the influence of parasitic inductance, or vice versa, consider the influence of inductance first and then consider the conversion of the coil.
