[Sipeed LicheeRV 86 Panel Review] 1- Unboxing Review [Copy link]

Development board photo

The board is very beautiful, and the core board is also exquisite and compact. Pingtou Ge is very generous and provides all the accessories needed.

Resources on the development board

  1. Using Allwinner D1 main chip, 512MB DDR3 memory
  2. Equipped with 480*480 4-inch capacitive touch screen
  3. Onboard wifi+BT module
  4. Speaker amplifier and two-way digital microphone
  5. GPIO expansion pin header
  6. USB-UART and USB-HOST circuit

Pitfalls encountered in setting up the development environment

The information on the Internet is quite confusing, so I encountered several pitfalls when setting up the development environment. I would like to thank the pioneer "DDZZ669" for exploring the way ahead.

1. The file system of the original system on the board is read-only and files cannot be written

When using the system that comes with the development board, create a new file through SSH, and it prompts that the file system is read-only. In this case, you need to re-burn the system. You can refer to the following post.

https://en.eeworld.com/bbs/thread-1192816-1-1.html

2. There are errors in the running files generated by the development environment

Refer to the development environment built by the tutorial about D1-H development board in "Allwinner Developer Community" (https://d1.docs.aw-ol.com/), the generated running program cannot run on the development board. You will encounter the problem described in the following post: relocation error

The picture is taken from https://en.eeworld.com/bbs/thread-1193137-1-1.html

It should be that the SDK version used is wrong. You can refer to another article by DDZZ669 to rebuild the development environment.

https://en.eeworld.com/bbs/thread-1194441-1-1.html

3. Unable to light up the LED light on the core board

The LEDs on the core board are reused on the base board, so when the core board is plugged into the base board, the LEDs cannot be lit. You need to remove the core board to light it up.
