1. Overview
The application and development based on wireless charging has now entered a mature stage, and the corresponding solutions can be applied in many scenarios. This time, we disassembled the scenario combined with the mouse pad. After preliminary disassembly, the core is actually the wireless charger. This process requires the combination of wireless charging protocol and the basic theory of electromagnetic coupling.
Let’s first look at a previously disassembled module of a wireless charging solution used in a power bank, which includes 2 wireless charging coils and 1 rechargeable battery. The specific implementation will not be explained in detail here.
Disassembling the Rapoo V10RGB fantasy color backlight gaming mouse hard pad. The specific parameters and effects can be found on a certain JD. It looks quite high-end, but everyone will experience it after disassembling it.
However, comparing it with the magical instructions of a certain big brand, you will know that this is still a conscientious price. Don't be afraid of comparing goods, just be afraid of disassembling. The specific use is also very simple, just put it in the designated position to start charging, and it can also prompt to move to the position directly in the middle of the coil to improve efficiency. The other light control looks very dazzling, but the design is simple and ingenious, and it is an independent PCB from the charging function.
2. Start from receiving the goods
After connecting the mouse, it feels good, but it is a bit thick. After opening it, you will know that the thickness is determined by the charging coil.
3. Unpacking
Starting from the latex pad on the back, the disassembly is very user-friendly, with a large area of dot-shaped double-sided tape, which is stable and reliable. You only need to peel off a part to reveal the whole answer.
A picture is worth a thousand words, no need to explain. The only question is how to construct the phantom light effect around it. The design here is still very clever. Pay attention to the white bar marks around it. In fact, after thinking about it for a long time, it feels pretty good.
In addition, it needs to be completely removed from the front. I didn't know why when I was removing it, but I understood it after I finished. A complete plane support needs to be formed here, so the flatter side of the PCB should be fully utilized to face the opening, and the side with soldered components should face the acrylic board to avoid unevenness.
It is relatively difficult to remove the front, but it is also very user-friendly. Use a credit card to gently move and peel it off, and the bare copper area of the PCB showing the touch button will be revealed, and the whole thing is flat.
At the same time, peel off the other side of the silicone and take it out along a groove.
Zoom in and see Kankan,
Take it out.
After taking it out, put it in similar positions in both directions, and the answer will be clearer. There are negative reviews under JD.com customer service saying that only certain positions can be charged and the experience is not good. In fact, this is normal and it is designed this way.
4 Some key points
First carefully analyze the lighting driver board
FMD-B1DYKME is used.
This driver's horizontally emitting RGB tri-color light emits light in an orderly controlled manner around it, and scatters it on the diffuse reflection surface at a 45 degree angle. The white strip at the bottom can reflect light again and prevent it from leaking out along the chassis. This is a design that fully utilizes the optical properties, avoiding the need for wiring around and fixing the LED light.
The antenna has a bottom magnet and is very brittle. During the disassembly process, I thought it was strong enough and accidentally broke one. The earliest wireless charging coils were hollow. Adding magnets increased the energy density, but also increased the loss.
The control chip and power chip of the wireless charging part are as follows
I searched online and found GPM8F8008C15W wireless charging solution, but I didn't find this chip. This is a professional wireless charging chip, which should have more comprehensive functions.
The disassembly is complete. The whole design is complete and easy to restore. From the design point of view, the core is still wireless charging that requires an external power supply. This solution is a separate system that can be used in different systems, such as automatic charging robots, etc. However, adding a mouse pad can increase the richness of application scenarios, which is also a smart business choice.
