【Silicon Labs Development Kit Review】– Compilation Environment Installation [Copy link]

 

As mentioned before, the development environment can be simplicity studio or MDK. Although I use MDK more often, this time I chose the original simplicity studi as the compiler. The installation process is recorded below.

Start the installation interface, technology blue

Click Agree, then Next, and install normally.

Default location or select your own location. According to past experience, it is best not to use a Chinese path or a path with spaces.

Finally, I didn’t forget to warn you. Of course, we can just install it directly.

Installation completed

Start the page, click Agree to all

Log in to your account to download things.

Remember to connect the board to the computer first, and then let the IDE automatically recognize it.

It is recommended to select Auto installation

Automatically install something

After the installation is complete, the compiler is required to restart. Click OK to restart and start preparing for a new journey.
