Why do different IDEs require different startup files? [Copy link]

As the title says, the startup files of Keil and TrueStudio are different (startup_stm32f10x_hd.s)

If you use the Keil v6 compiler, it will be the same. V6 is based on clang and is compatible with gcc The v5 compiler is no longer updated.   Details Published on 2021-4-19 22:54

Keil uses its own commercial compiler, while TrueStudio uses gcc. The assembly syntax of the two compilers is different.
