Definition of waveform overshoot on sampling resistor in constant current source application [Copy link]

The circuit diagram is shown in Figure 1, and Figure 2 is the waveform on the sampling resistor R detected by a differential probe. The problem is as follows:

1. Which of the following methods is used to calculate the percentage of overshoot (△V)?

(1)△V%=5mV/(1.55-0)V;

(2)△V%=5mV/(1.55-1.5)V;

(3)△V%=5mV/(1.555-0)V;

(4)△V%=5mV/(1.555-1.5)V;

2. Will the absolute value of overshoot (△V) change with the size of the sampling resistor R? If so, what is the relationship? Thank you all!
