The power consumption evaluation data of a Bluetooth headset using Qualcomm CRS8635 is shared for discussion! [Copy link]

This product uses Qualcomm CRS8635, Bluetooth version 4.0+, and is officially claimed to be able to play music for 10 hours and standby for 240 hours. After unpacking it, I didn't see the battery capacity label. Based on the power consumption evaluation results, can the battery capacity of the product be estimated?

The power consumption evaluation data is as follows:
1. Power off state < 1 μA;
2. Power on time is about 7s, average current is about 3.3mA;
3. The Bluetooth connection time of the mobile phone is less than 2s, and the average power consumption is about 10mA;
4. In hot connection state (just connected to the mobile phone and just stopped the music), the average current is about 6.56mA;
5. The average current when playing music is about 13.72mA;
6. In cold connection state, the average power consumption is about 700 μA;

According to the evaluation results and the official standby time, the estimated battery capacity is around 150mAh.

Note: Affected by factors such as the test tool environment, this result is for reference only! #IoT#
The current waveform seen using the power tester is as follows:

I'm curious about how you measured the current, did you disassemble the machine? Then you should post a picture so that everyone can see what's inside.

This type of earphone was very popular in the past, and the sound quality was good. Now everyone uses TWS.

#高通QualcommBluetoothheadset# (not for sale), let's take a look at the power consumption index of this big brand. How long can you listen to music continuously after fully charging?
Evaluation data results:
It takes 16 seconds to turn on and connect to the phone, and the average power consumption is about = 11mA;
in hot connection state, the average current is about = 8.42mA;
when playing music, the average current is about = 21.48mA;
after stopping the music and entering the cold connection state, the average current is about = 1.68mA;

The battery capacity of this Bluetooth headset is 400mAh. According to the test data above, after the headset is fully charged, it can continuously listen to music for about 15 hours and standby for about 190 hours.

Evaluation conditions:
Bluetooth chip: csr57F68
Input voltage: 3.7v
Note: Affected by test tools, methods, environment and other factors, this result is for reference only!

#Power consumption evaluation of a low-power module of Bluetooth 5.0# I bought a Bluetooth 5.0 module online. It is said that 5.0 is very power-saving. Let’s take a look at how low the power consumption is.

The data measured by the power analyzer are as follows:
1. Not connected, average current = 30μA;
2. Establish connection, average power consumption = 314μA;
3. Receiving data, average current = 358μA, maximum current = 1.5mA, minimum current = 261μA;
4. Sending data, average power consumption = 355μA, maximum current = 3.3mA, minimum current = 268μA;
5. Disconnect, average current = 30μA.

Compared with Bluetooth 4.0, is the power consumption data greatly improved? I have not tested the Bluetooth 4.0 module, welcome to leave a message!
Test conditions:
1. Input voltage = 4V
2. Affected by test tools, methods, environment and other factors, this result is for reference only!
