The MSP-EXP430FR2311 LaunchPad Development Kit is an easy-to-use microcontroller development board for the MSP430FR2311 MCU.
It contains all the resources needed to quickly start development on the MSP430FR2x FRAM platform, including on-board emulation for programming, debugging, and energy measurement. The board has on-board buttons and LEDs for quick integration of a simple user interface, as well as an optical sensor interface for starting development. The kit comes with pre-programmed code for testing light intensity and the use of integrated op amps. The MSP430FR2311 MCU device is the world's first MCU with a configurable low-leakage current sensing amplifier, with 50 pA of current leakage and 4 KB of embedded FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory) and non-volatile memory known for ultra-low power consumption, high erase and write cycles, and high-speed write access. The device also has integrated smart analog functions (integrated op amps, comparators, DACs, and ADCs) to help connect a variety of industrial sensors and support single-chip implementations for most sensing applications. Rapid prototyping is easy thanks to a 20-pin header and a variety of BoosterPack plug-in modules for wireless connectivity, graphic displays, environmental sensing, and other technologies.
