Theme Introduction
Topic 1: Interpretation of Wi-Fi 6 standards and test challenges, full coverage of L1-L7
The Wi-Fi Alliance has released the Wi-Fi 6 certification program, and Wi-Fi 6 certification work has officially started in China. Here we will introduce the development of Wi-Fi 6 from the perspective of standards and certification, including key technologies and application scenarios, as well as future prospects, and also introduce testing requirements and challenges. Keysight Technologies is a member of the IEEE Standards Organization and the Wi-Fi Alliance. It has been closely following the development of standards and technologies and provides complete test solutions from layer 1 to layer 7. We will also introduce these corresponding test solutions.
Topic 2: Maxim TWS Application Solutions
In the earphone market, the most popular one is TWS earphone. In this seminar, we will interpret the challenges of TWS earphone design and Maxim's corresponding solutions. The solutions to be discussed include: PLC bidirectional DC power line communication (MAX20340), buck-boost IC (MAX20343) with dynamic output voltage adjustment, high-precision fuel gauge, audio headphone amplifier, MCU, etc.
Live Highlights
1. PLC
Traditional: The charging box directly provides 5V voltage to charge the earphones, causing battery loss and earphone heating.
PLC: Use the original two power cord contacts for online communication to achieve communication between the earphones and the charging box.
2. High-precision fuel gauge
A battery fuel gauge, also known as a battery fuel indicator, determines the state of charge (SOC) and health of a battery. Maxim's battery fuel gauges have been successfully used in more than 1 billion devices. High-precision battery fuel gauges are essential to avoid unexpected downtime and are key to a good user experience. Highest accuracy SOC indication, even under difficult conditions such as extremely low temperatures and light loads. Low quiescent current (IQ) fuel gauges - critical for low-power applications.
3. Cost-effective audio amplifier
4. PMIC
Topic 3: Wi-Fi 6 and 6 GHZ (Wi-Fi 6E): Transforming the Wireless Industry
The launch of the Wi-Fi 6 certification program and the release of 6 GHz (Wi-Fi 6E) have triggered major industrial changes and significant technological advancements in the entire wireless field. Taking this opportunity, Jeff Lin, senior marketing manager of Qorvo's Wireless Connectivity Business Unit in Asia Pacific, had an interactive discussion on topics such as the new opportunities brought by Wi-Fi 6 and 6 GHz, the role of Wi-Fi 6 in the 5G paradigm, and the timeline for market advancement in different applications and use cases.
