Dear experts, I have a question about KiCad. When selecting the component symbol in Esschema, as shown in Figure 1, R is in the middle of the box, but after selecting and placing it, R is not in the box, as shown in Figure 2. Why is this?

Eeschema will automatically adjust the placement of this text. There is an option, enabled by default, to turn this feature off.

You called the software name wrong, it is eeschema, not esschema
