RT-Thread is an open source real-time operating system developed mainly by the Chinese open source community. The real-time thread operating system is not just a single real-time operating system kernel, it is also a complete application system that includes various components related to real-time and embedded systems: TCP/IP protocol stack, file system, libc interface, graphical user interface, etc.

In order to let more people understand RT-Thread, learn and use RT-Thread! RT-Thread and EEWorld jointly held this event, hoping that everyone will learn to use RT-Thread and submit their own RT-Thread works here. To encourage everyone, RT-Thread has also prepared generous prizes for everyone, and the first place winner can also get RoboMaster!

Application period: October 22, 2019 - November 4, 2019

  1. How to participate

Enter the event page, click the "I want to participate" button , fill out the application form, explain your personal reason for application and whether you have heard of RT-Thread.

We will select 10 netizens from the participants and give each of them a w601 board worth 218 yuan or a RT-Thread book worth 89 yuan.

Note: If you only want a development board or books, please indicate this in your application. If you do not indicate this, both are accepted by default. We will choose to issue a development board or books based on your application.

  1. How to submit your work

Selected users must complete one or more RT-Thread related works within one month from the date of receiving the development board. Use RT-Thread and software packages to develop related applications in the works, with no restrictions on content, and open source code and documents. You can get technical support in the RT-Thread official community.

Please submit your work to the EEWorld forum [Other Embedded Operating Systems] section . And submit the post link to the email address: andychen@rt-thread.com

Submission Format:

Title: [RT-Thread software package application work] + self-written title

Content: Description of the application's implementation functions, software framework description, software package usage instructions, demonstration effects, code address

Reference for the direction of the work (for reference only):
It can be smart home, improving the smart experience of home appliances, or data collection and analysis, improving equipment maintenance efficiency, etc. We encourage creativity to build a work that solves a specific problem in a certain field or scenario.

For example: Story machine uses: RT-Thread + software package (webclint + mqtt + tls + audio + OTA) Air quality detector uses: RT-Thread + software package (dht11 + mqtt + onenet)

1. After you upload your work in the eeworld community and submit the link to the mailbox: andychen@rt-thread.com, RT-Thread officials will score your work. The scoring criteria are as follows:

Completeness of the work: 20 points; quantity and quality of software packages used: 25 points; whether there are new software packages: 15 points; practicality: 20 points; innovation: 20 points

2. If your work ranks among the top 18 among all the works we received, you will have the opportunity to receive the following rewards. The list of winners will be announced on RT-Thread’s official WeChat on December 13!
