Ultra-low power blood pressure and heart rate monitor
This reference design is a demonstration for detecting blood pressure and heart rate. It works in low-power mode (LPM3) and only displays the date and time in most time. User can measure blood pressure by pressing 'measure' button and also can look at historical blood pressure by pressing 'memory (...)

Biometric Steering Wheel Reference Design
This reference design is used to demonstrate the concept of how to obtain the driver's pulse rate, respiration rate and ECG-based heart rate from the car's steering wheel. With the AFE4400 and AFE4300 from TI's biometric analog front end (AFE) series , all three parameters can be collected through simple contact between the hand and the steering wheel. The reference design also includes a full set of BLE connectivity designs, which can be easily connected to BLE-enabled smartphones, tablets and other devices

Low Power Heart Rate and EKG Monitor
This design details how to build a digital heart rate monitor using the MSP430FG439 microcontroller (MCU). The heart rate per minute is displayed on an LCD and a digital data stream is generated through the RS232 serial port, allowing the EKG waveform to be displayed on a PC. The entire application runs on a CR2032 3-V lithium battery.
