Help on ADN8834 burning out [Copy link]

The phenomenon encountered is that after powering on, ADN8834 works normally at first, and then after powering on again, it is found that the supply current increases and the voltage is pulled down. After removing ADN8834 and testing, it is found that 17PIN (LDR) is close to 0 ohm to ground. What is the reason for this? Thank you all for your help.

ADN8834 works normally first Why can't you work later? Caused by the power-on moment?   Details Published on 2022-6-14 15:16

Without relevant information, I can't analyze it. Also, you said that the resistance to ground is close to 0 ohms. How did you measure it? Use the resistance range of a multimeter? That is meaningless. Unless all the resistances are 0, you can determine that it is a short circuit. Measure and compare it with a new chip. Only when there is a clear difference will it make sense.
